College of Engineering

Origin and Evolution:
The College of Engineering was established in 2016, with the major in Civil and Electrical Engineering, and its first batch was received in October of the same year.

school system :
• The study system is based on the semester system, with two semesters per academic year.
• The duration of study in the college to qualify the student for a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is not less than five years and not more than ten years.
• The study period in each semester is (15) fifteen weeks, not including the examination period.
• The student receives a set of courses in each semester consisting of theoretical lectures and exercises on them as well as experiments on engineering design work and performing practical experiments.
The student receives practical training during his studies and during holidays.

College council, college dean, vice dean, department heads, registrar, divisional heads, and assistant registrars.

The model college project is a hope and a wish that we seek to achieve through academic curricula like myself that meet teaching requirements in line with international standards. Qualifying graduates who are equipped with engineering knowledge and skills and full of professional values ​​and ethics.

1- Providing students with the fundamentals of knowledge in the human and engineering sciences, qualifying them with scientific skills and developing their capabilities in analytical thinking and creative imagination to perform the tasks of designing facilities, machines, systems and processes, and undertaking the tasks of construction and operation.
2- Preparing the engineer who is aware of the social, cultural and political aspects with the moral and aesthetic development, especially those that are suitable for the working life of the professional engineer.
3- Preparing the various engineering cadres to see their role in meeting the aspirations of the Sudanese community at the national and local levels in various sectors.
4- Qualifying the graduate who can continue to teach himself throughout his life.
5- Conducting and publishing academic and applied research to enrich knowledge in the scientific and engineering fields, organizing conferences and seminars and holding scientific courses.
6- Preparing training courses and continuing education programs to raise the efficiency of workers in the public and private sectors in order to be able to increase their capabilities to participate actively in the development of the country.
